EcoTuesday Ambassadors are outgoing, well networked individuals in cities around the world that share the EcoTuesday vision for change and are passionate about creating structured monthly networking events for sustainable business leaders. Ambassadors work in teams of two in each city.

- Be the primary host and organizer for monthly EcoTuesday events in your city.

- Be a part of expanding the sustainability conversation and making an impact on businesses and the planet.

Here's an overview of the Ambassador Program:
- The following month’s event must be secured (speaker/venue) before the current month can be publicized on the EcoTuesday Web site.
- Ambassadors must conduct events in accordance with the EcoTuesday’s monthly event structure and adhere to EcoTuesday’s company policies and guidelines outlined in the Ambassador Manual (to be purchased by Ambassador prior to EcoTuesday publicizing an EcoTuesday event).
- Stay connected to EcoTuesday headquarters in San Francisco (with a monthly “check in” through EcoTuesday’s Web Site or via email)
- Produce one event on the fourth Tuesday of each month
- Work closely with the other Ambassador within the Ambassador team and share all responsibilities for producing and publicizing the EcoTuesday events
- Purchase and become familiar with the EcoTuesday Ambassador Manual prior to the first event (the Ambassador Manual costs $100)
- Create profile page on EcoTuesday.com website with photo and bio
- Respond to email messages from Headquarters in a timely fashion (within three days)
Ambassador teams coordinate all monthly event logistics including:
- Find a venue (café, restaurant, bar, club) for the event
- Find a dynamic speaker each month
- Answer questions from participants via email
- Coordinate post-event administration (short re-cap of event, upload photos if possible, and send thank you messages to venue and speaker)
- Publicize the event in local papers, online community websites, and national green websites
- Purchase nametags and pens for participants each month
EcoTuesday Headquarters is responsible for:
- Supporting Ambassador teams with marketing materials
- Supporting Ambassador teams with sales materials for company sponsorship opportunities
- Publicizing EcoTuesday on a national level
- Paying Ambassador team commissions in a timely manner
- Answering Ambassador team questions in a timely manner
EcoTuesday Headquarters is NOT responsible for:
- Finding a venue in your city
- Finding a speaker in your city
- Publicizing and marketing EcoTuesday in your local area
