Jessica's bio
Jessica Carew Kraft, M.A., M.Res.,LEED AP, is a writer, designer, and activist focusing on sustainable lifestyle change. She has taught cultural studies and design history at Central Saint Martins Academy of Art and Design and Parsons the New School for Design, and art history at the City University of New York. An anthropologist by training, she has written for several contemporary art and lifestyle magazines, worked with architects and planners on sustainable development projects in the Middle East and Latin America, and organized public art projects in London, New York, and San Francisco. She currently teaches sustainable design at the Academy of Art University and the University of California, Berkeley Extension and owns and operates her own art and design business.
