Flavia Berys is an associate in the Real Estate and Land Use groups for both the Palo Alto and San Diego offices, focusing her practice on real estate development.
Ms. Berys is a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) and can help clients with green building and green leasing legal issues.
She represents clients in the development, leasing, acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial real estate, including environmental and transactional due diligence and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) litigation matters.
Prior to her career as a real estate and land use attorney, Ms. Berys worked in property management and in the residential mortgage lending industry.
Ms. Berys received her B.A. in English with a specialization in Business and Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her law degree (magna cum laude) from California Western School of Law, San Diego.
She is a member of the State Bar of California and is licensed as a Real Estate Broker by the California Department of Real Estate.
Ms. Berys is currently a board member for the Ecumenical Hunger Program in East Palo Alto, volunteers for the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo, and is a member of the American Bar Association. Bar Admission: California
