Heath's bio
Formally trained in architecture & permaculture, and an alumnus of the Arcosanti project, Heath comes from a diverse background developing architecture, landscape architecture, and community-based sustainable energy projects in the American Southwest. Heath helped to kick-off Local Energy, a community-based sustainable energy non-profit, by assisting in the firms' technical energy demand and fuels study of a Biomass-fired District Energy System for the City of Santa Fe, NM. While working with the renowned architecture firm Mazria, Inc, founder of Architecture 2030, Heath collaborated on passive solar inspired institutional and master planning efforts in Northern New Mexico. In 2006, Heath moved to the Bay Area and began working with Brightworks, a sustainability consulting firm headquartered in Portland and San Francisco.
