EcoNexus, Founder and CEO
I founded EcoNexus with the vision to measurably promote environmental sustainability and the mission to help people visualize, manage, improve, and market their environmental impact. To that end we have developed the EcoNexus Energy Management Platform which shows when and where electricity is used yearly/monthly/daily/hourly. We have the world's first double bottom line electric bill showing the hard dollar cost as well as the environmental impact for tenants and departments.
We also have the only networked energy audit kits with 84 channels for energy auditors who want to perform empirical energy audits.
I grew up hunting, trapping and fishing in rural North Dakota and once spent a year living with the Ashante in the rainforest of Ghana. I've traveled extensively in the tropics and have lived in Mexico, Costa Rica (current) and Cuba. In 1990 started the Texas Rainforest Action Group and took on numerous oil companies that were destroying the rainforests. In 1992 I started Earth Foundation and built it into a network of over 10,000 schools that use a curriculum I wrote on rainforests. EF has raised over $10 Million to date for The Nature Conservancy's adopt-an-acre program. I now live in Costa Rica where I have planted 25,000+ trees in a region that abuts the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. In 2007-08, I helped to conceptualize and build a research center for Texas A&M University. Currently I am building a permaculture community and finishing a book on Cuba.
I'm currently a student at San Francisco State University persuing a degree in Business Management. When I graduate I will begin my career of owning and opperating businesses.

My philosophy is simple: things change. Therefore, we are all on a lifelong journey of discovery. We should be flexible, questioning, learning, adapting, and growing. Always.
I believe in responsibility and efficiency and I strive to find a balance between them.
I am a certified program manager with 16 years of automotive experience. I want to combine this with my passion to be environmentally friendly and sustainable. My optimal job would be a program manager for a green building project.
I am a general PRactitioner with moxie, and a quest to work with green-centric organizations. I help businesses spread the word about their products and services, through strategic development of key messages, marketing collateral, case study articles, community outreach and publicity. As a “one-woman show,” I am nimble and able to jump into small or large projects quickly, maintain a high-level of quality on deliverables and offer senior-level consulting services at reasonable rates. I pride myself on my attention to detail, conscientious approach to business and ability to contribute to teams on a strategic level. After working in Chicago PR agencies for seven years, as PNW PR Manager for Nextel Communications for two years, and as Proprietor of TōST Lounge in Fremont for four years, I heartily launched TSPR in 2005.
