I graduated from the Univeristy of Iow and moved to Los Angeles to help with a start up organic gardening company called Farmscape Gardens. Our company mission is to turn urban sprawl into urban farms by installing and maintaining organic edible gardens for people in private yards or community spaces. I feel passionately about food politics and the environment so I am excited to be here in Los Angeles working towards this goal. I get my inspiration from the people who had victory gardens in the 1940's, a time when twenty million American's were growing forty percent of our nation's food. I enjoy gardening, cooking, hiking, biking, running, and reading in my free time.
