The rave reviews for Denver's first EcoTuesday event of 2010 are still coming in!

Green Spaces was the host in downtown Denver where 45 local professionals gathered to meet, learn and share their passions about the sustainability movement.  Variety appeared to be the flavor of the evening as financial planners chatted with eco-real estate brokers...eco-inventors and entrepreneurs talked with mortgage brokers and traditional marketers were visiting with green focused marketers.  Rumor has it there was even an accountant at the event!

The night was in full swing when Krista Roberts, President of Slow Food Denver took center stage.  Krista spoke about how her and her Team helps people make local choices about their food.  This effort had just been demonstrated with their large purchases at the National Western Stock Show of local rancher's livestock.

Slow Food Denver also works with Denver Public Schools to show the students how to grow and eat their own vegetables at school.  The room got a good laugh when she shared the story of how a young boy insisted on eating a turnip he grew himself - raw - at harvest time.  Great story and lessons there!

We look forward to seeing you at our next event on February 23rd!
