In October 2008 EcoTuesday in San Francisco held its first panel presentation entitled, "2009 & Beyond: Trends in Sustainable Business." Over 130 industry leaders attended and spent the evening learning from one another and the featured panelists about the upcoming changes that the industry would take in the near future.

Panelists included: Ted Howes of IDEO, a global design consultancy, Kevin Danaher, co-founder of Global Exchange and a founder and Executive Producer of the Green Festivals, and Nicole Lederer, co-founder of E2 (Environmental Entrepreneurs), an environmental regulation and policy consulting firm. The panel was moderated by Steven Van Yoder from Get Slightly Famous.
