Scott Allison is a sustainable consultant in Seattle and has a very diverse background in sustainability.
Scott helped promote and advocate electrical vehicles in the mid 90's in Seattle with what is now the worlds leading electric vehicle company. Naturally he pursued renewable energy technology so he became an intern at the Real Goods "Institute for Solar Living" in Hopland Ca.
Upon returning to Seattle he served as a board member for Solar Washington (A.S.E.S) for two terms advocating state solar incentives.
He has been installing solar energy systems for the last two years in Seattle and now focusing on sustainable consulting and hopes to create several local sustainable manufacturing start ups. Scott walks his talk and drives only electric vehicles or takes metro.
Tina Kite designs one-of-a-kind, eclectic hats for women. She has a strong background in entrepreneurial organizations, both with for-profits and non-profits, where she managed operations, administrative systems and coordinated marketing and sales. She devotes her time as a volunteer for the local and organic food community at Georgia Organics. Championing for the "Farm to School" program Tina is a founding member of Urban Gateway Garden.
In line with her holistic and sustainable lifestyle she is a certified yoga instructor and licensed massage therapist.
Nora Pittenger is a recent graduate from Marymount Manhattan College in International Relations. Nora returned to her native Minneapolis in September to reengage in her local community. She is a Target Corporation Business Analyst in sourcing.
Jennifer Gooding moved to Los Angeles to in her early twenties to pursue her dream of working at a prominent animal welfare organization. After four years with the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Los Angeles (two spent running a pet adoption center, two in PR) she finished her degree at Pepperdine University in PR and Nonprofit Management. She currently works as a Project Manager at Jungle8, a web design and branding agency that specializes in conscious messaging. An Eastsider, she is excited to bring a consistent opportunity for eco professionals to network in L.A. somewhere other than the Westside!
Stephanie Schlecht hails from Madison, Wisconsin where she grew up in a family of farmers and entrepreneurs. She found her first calling as a teacher, and taught on the Navajo Reservation and at an international school in Honduras for four years. Her interest in sustainable development and organizational leadership led her to Thunderbird, School of Global Management where she completed her MBA. Stephanie has found her second calling in recent years-- which is to help change the way we think about the role of business in society. Having recently relocated to Sonoma County, Stephanie is excited about broadening her network, contributing her skills and experiences to an organization, and collaborating with others to strengthen the case for sustainability.
