Ivette Torres is a recent GreenMBA graduate from Dominican University, the first MBA program in the U.S. with a focus in sustainability. Born and raised in the Bay Area she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and trying new and diverse foods. She received her undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley.
Jenny Minoux has worked in marketing and operations in the high-tech and financial industries for the past 10+ years and is currently consulting for the Green Chamber of Commerce. She has always been an advocate of nature conservation, growing up on a family farm in WI and working her way through college at a Colorado dude ranch and Glacier National Park in MT. Most recently, she experienced the forest protection and orangutan rehabilitation efforts in Kalimantan, Borneo Indonesia.
A lifelong environmentalist, I am owner of Sustainable Home, an interior design firm specializing in healthy and green materials. We work primarily with residential projects, in the San Francisco Peninsula area. I am proud of my involvement in the Solar Decathlon entry from Santa Clara University. It included local, sustainable and beautiful materials. I have design degrees from Syracuse University and Canada College, am a LEED GA, Certified Green Building Professional, and professional member of USGBC, ADPSR and Coop America. www.sustainablehome.com
Nikki is deeply passionate about providing services that support conscious & mission-driven companies reach their sustainability goals. In 2007, Nikki co-founded EcoTuesday to facilitate vital connections and change in the business community. Today, EcoTuesday is thriving in 6 cities across the country. The monthly event brings together hundreds of sustainability professionals & has made a positive impact on business in several local communities. Since graduating with an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, Sudhir has focused on organizational development and social enterprise consulting. He often leverages sustainable design to help uplift and empower stakeholders in under-served communities. In his spare time Sudhir enjoys the cultural and natural delights Cleveland has to offer and has served as an active member of the Cleveland Bridge Builders, Sustainable Cleveland 2019 Steering Committee, Club at Key Center (Green Committee Co-Chair), and Entrepreneurs for Sustainability. He serves on the advisory board for Sunflower Solutions, a local firm delivering affordable clean energy to challenged places.
As Community Liaison for Macroscopic Media LLC, I am assisting with a new feature-length documentary, "Unacceptable Levels." An entrepreneur, writer, graphic designer, & creative thinker, I share my vision of sustainable living in homes, offices, & over coffee in local cafes. I am also the founder of two local Meetup groups: a grassroots effort to remove showcase lawns & replace them with edibles and drought-tolerant natives, & women who strive toward living more simply & sustainably.
