EcoTuesday Vision:

EcoTuesday is committed to changing the way people do business. The monthly event provides a structured environment where sustainable business leaders network with one another and gain insight from industry thought–leaders and trendsetters. Everyone in the room quickly learns about everyone else during the “introduction circle”. The vision of EcoTuesday is for business people to share ideas and collaborate so that companies develop products and services that have a positive impact on the marketplace and planet.

EcoTuesday History:

In January 2007, longtime friends Nikki Pava and Oren Jaffe were discussing the challenges of networking in today’s business world. The two brainstormed possibilities for an event that would provide a shared context for all participants, so that people could connect with others while learning about sustainability. EcoTuesday was born from this conversation. EcoTuesday is now held on the fourth Tuesday of each month in cities across the US.

Toward the end of 2007, the first EcoTuesday event outside of San Francisco launched in Minneapolis, and the Ambassador Program was created. Since then, Ambassadors have launched EcoTuesday in other cities across the country. Let us know if you'd like to produce an EcoTuesday in YOUR city!

Here are the two main aspects of EcoTuesday:

MONTHLY EVENTS

Featuring opportunities for sustainable business leaders to network and learn about current issues from an innovative speaker and from one another. During the introduction circle, all participants share one sentence about their business and a passion or interest around sustainability.

LOCAL AMBASSADORS

Producing EcoTuesday events in their city, becoming regional leaders in sustainable business. Ambassadors are empowered with tools and resources to earn income by generating and hosting EcoTuesday events.
